TRIP TO HONG KONG
Hello. If u were wondering if im dead alr or something, im back from Hong Kong, alive and kicking =)). Ha. Yeah finally get to go on my HK trip with my parents. It was a 3-day trip but technically, we only had one day to
tour shop around. My only sight-seeing spot was cancelled last min cos mum said there's nothing to see. DUH. So we ended up shopping and eating and shop and eat. I didn't buy much stuff due to mum being so freaking negative abt me buying guys' wear. That got me getting real pissed and decided to not buy anythg at all. But surprisingly, dad kept on asking me to buy wad i wanted. I guess that didn't help much cos i was still pissed. Sux right? It got me thinking into going on the next trip without my mum. Oops. Alright, time for details~
Day 1:So we flew to HK on Cathay Pacific airlines. Whoot. Good-looking air stewards alright. Though the air stewardesses sounded rather pitchy and looked not so bad lah. All Hongkies i supposed. Ha. And i finally caught
27 Dresses while in the air. Whoot. Katherine Heigl = hot stuff. Eh..i preferred her more in
Grey's though
. Yeah. Neway, the food was okay-ish. And i had an extra chocolate Häagen-Dazs ice cream from the good-looking air steward. Wee. I think he tot that i was some kid lah that's why. Oh well. Bla bla bla, so we reached HK, checked out, went on the hotel shuttle to L' Hotel. Stop laughing. The hotel is not related to the
L Word lah. It's situated somewhere in Causeway Bay and is like 40-storey high? The funny thing was the hotel shuttle actualli stopped in the middle of nowhere and we alighted in the middle of the HK neighbourhood. Cute right? HAHA.
The lift buttons only showed till 39.

Errie corridor.

Parents' beds.

My sofa bed with the arm rests plucked out.

There were 2 plasma TVs for our room.

The sexy open concept bathtub.

Realli open concept okay. No joke pls.

The walkway with my own hidden toilet. Yeah i could bath till the cows came home without ppl banging on my door.

Hello HK neighbourhood.

Hello mini buses and taxis.

Hello HK neighbourhood staircase. Btw, that fellow up there is human okay.

After we settled down in the hotel, we went out to kia kia. Tried to order something to eat in one of the makan shops, but i was confused with the menu. All mee. I meant, all i-duno-wad-type-of-mee. So i had wanton mee just like my dad and soyabean milk like my mum. Was kinda pai seh when i tried to order wanton mee without chilli, when they dun have such thing in HK cos the condiments were all on the table alr. Mum ended up laughing at me. DUH. Then we walked around abit more and headed back to bath and sleep.
Day 2:Rise and shine to HK neighbourhood staircase. (yeah, it's the same staircase)

Exterior of L' Hotel.

40-storey high yo.

The view outside the hotel.

Hello HK taxi. U remind me of my S'pore flag back home =)).

Had breakfast at one of the shops nearby. I must say that Hongkies eat alot for breakfast! Omg. I can only finish half pls. The MTR station was right opposite the hotel. So we hopped on the MTR, which is actualli no diff from our very own MRTs. With the exception that theirs are so much longer and we actualli 'mazed' around to find our way to board the trains.
Our first destination:
Western Market. There ain't anythg much there bascially.

Old school ang moh telephone post.

Church interior look-a-like. Dun mind the barricades outside.

Mum wanted to go to this particular shop in the area so we tried to walk there. Was lost for 2 hours and walking around in circles before we found that shop. Dad said the HK map bo zhun one. Oops. So after that we hopped on the MTR again and went to shop at
Central (for shopping addicts) and
Admiralty (more like high-end shopping spot). Lunched wanton mee
again cos Mum said that shop was famous for that and high tea-ed at some cafe with weird waitors. Then we took the tram back to the hotel to put our shopping stuff.
View from the tram.

More trams.

I guess this totally shocking PINK shop is currently under construction for Jenny. HAHA!!

HK has like
TONS of bball courts, tennis courts, indoor soccer courts and duno wad courts in the nieghbourhood area.

Hello densely populated HK.

The orange building takes the same shape of the L' Hotel dun u think?

Just in time for two lights in one traffic light. Btw the yellow strips on their roads look so freaking confusing, for me at least.

Hello killer signboards.

Hello horrendous crowd.

Their advertising industry is realli striving.

Reached the hotel, put our stuffs, massage the feet a little and there we go again. We headed straight to
Causeway Bay this time round. Walked around and bumped into tons of good-looking Hongkies. And there's tons of bungs around. I swear i saw at least twenty in that single day. Had dessert at this famous shop. Walked around more and had dinner at Tony Roma's. Had ribs of cos. But i tot it was over-grilled though. Bleah. We ended up eating till we wanted to burst.
Hello clock at
Times Square.

Afterwhich, we decided to stroll in
Victoria's Park before heading back to the hotel cos we need to work out the tummies.
Day 3:Good morning HK. I woke up at 6 AM to a rainy HK. So emo thank u~

So the rain died down after i washed up.

Hello dangerous playground. I stoned for a while upon finding u up there.

This marks the end of the HK trip. Im so random. Ha.

The hotel shuttle came and pick us up at 7:15 AM and went around the whole of HK for 2 hours plus to pick up other ppl before heading towards the airport. Then we had a quick breakfast before boarding the plane. This time round the air stewards were just average-looking and the air stewardesses looked as if they were having pms. Say, i bet they're Singaporeans? HAHA. Just kidding lah. The food was kinda weird but it ended off with a big chocolate ice cream stick. Not so bad afterall lah. Oh, i managed to catch
Kungfu Dunk like finally. Crap show lah seriously. But i still love my Jay Chou. Haha.
Neway, there was this very young couple who sat infront of me on the plane. They actualli made out lah okay. Mum's eyes almost popped out and Dad pretended as if nothing happened. As for me, I almost puked cos that couple looked damn disgusting to start with. Sorry to say that. But next time get a room lah kids. I wna keep my meals back in. Thanks.
So yeah, that's all for my HK trip. Apparently the next family vacation will be on when my bro completes his NS =)).
