25.07.08 - Lights Festival at the National Museum

Nice eh? Spectacular spectacular! Haha. Then we went for the open cinema and watched Hairspray. Alright, Zac Efron does look even hot-ter with black hair. Ha! Heard a chicken singing across the streets so we headed to Zouk at SMU to see how the chicken looked like. Duh.

Flew back to the carpark before Pote's car got 'eaten up'. Bedok 85 for supper (yeah i finally got my ass there). Changi Village to check out realli big size trans. Changi Beach for the feel-the-wind-in-the-hair treatment.

Afterwhich we took the long and straight road back. Unwind the windows and blasted the music. Wonderful experience yo.

27.07.08 - Pote's surprise birthday party

Met up JJ and Angeline at HG mall to get the cake. Didn't realize they were hiding in the liang cha dian after 15 minutes? HAHA. Headed down to SRJC to wait for mama and doctor. Pics taken while waiting.

Our 100m dash to sch every morning.

I dun freaking run even when im late..so closed gates were for me.

Either that, or we'll pop out in class after the morning breaks. Hate to be caught late on Mondays cos they'll make 'fall-in' with the sch tie and ask u to sing the national anthem and the terrible sounding sch song without any background music. Ew.

Coming back to the topic, we met up with the rest and 854-ed to Pote's hse. I guess Pote smelt something fishy and called mama to ask if im with her. After tt she actualli missed call me 3 times during the entire bus ride. I didn't dare to pick up her calls and my eyes almost popped out when i saw her caller id on my hp. Scary pls.

Bla bla. Reached, alighted and figured our way to walk into Pote's. Hid behind her neighbour's walls and waited for the right moment to jump onto Pote when she walked out of the house. Imagine all 5 of us hiding in a straight row behind the walls. Funny sight eh? There were passerbys staring at us for goodness sake. Haha! And ta dang! S-U-R-P-R-I-S-E!!! But my dearest didn't looked quite at all surprised cos she alr knew tt we were up to something. Bleah. But it's okay, the rest of us had fun neway. Yeah.

Spent some time surfing the net and ordered our dinner.

Checking out the red wine but my Heineken's still the best lah. Like THE.


While waiting for dinner to come, we moved chairs, stools and the table to the rooftop for our romantic dinner.

The sky began to darken and we contemplated whether to get candles for the night. Gives it a more romantic feel u noe u noe? Haha. Then the show begins! JJ called it the 'open air pub' but only plain water is provided.

Everyone got high on plain water while enjoying the performance. Cool stuff. Then came my attempt to psycho Pote not to follow KW and mama downstairs cos they were going to get the cake. It was a totally useless attempt cos my acting sucked big time duh.

Cake came and we tried to light the candles amidst the freaking big wind (partly cos we were up at the rooftop, like hello?)

Ate the cake and watched more performances from KW and mama. Haha. Then it was time for some 'movie-under-the-stars' so we watched Prom Night. Nice movie to watched with that airy atmosphere. Had a great day. Yeah =))

28.07.08 - Eve of Potato Day

Went for the morning class and ponned the aftn class cos i was feeling sick of $$$? Duh. Ended up meeting Pote at Novena Square to eat KFC. Somehow we always go there for our KFCs. Haha. Bus-ed to her workplace. Uh, finally went down to her workplace. Hung around abit there and headed down to meet the girls.

Met, hung around Marina Sq aimlessly. Dinner at Glutton Sq beside DXO with free music by the out-of-tune bar singer. Walked around somemore and took our tourists pics.
